Pobre Ana bailó tango is a our latest level one novel.  The book talks about Ana's trip to Mexico and then tells how she went on a second trip to Argentina.  She learned to dance the tango and found a boy friend.  This is great practice of the past tense for your first year students.  Very limited vocabulary.
